For the last 5 years, the Amoria Bond Charitable Trust have worked alongside Project Peru to deliver the long term goal of building 100 homes (housing 500 people) in the impoverished Las Laderas community.
The project involves a great deal of commitment from the Amoria Bond team as they use a week of their annual holiday as well as funding the travel expenses plus any living costs whilst there. This is in addition to raising the funds to build the homes. The Amoria Bond stay in the local area during the night and then work alongside the locals building their houses by day.
In August 2017 with your support we will complete this long term goal of 100 homes. THANK YOU
We were lucky enough to pull together some fantastic support among our international contacts in the immediate aftermath of the Nepalese Earthquake disaster.
With rapid action & mobilisation we were able to provide much needed medical supplies for those urgently needing it. Thank you for your support.
Whilst Christmas is a time of consumerism & merry festivities for many of us, we try to remain mindful that for many Christmas is a day of hardship, not the same celebration of family, fun and excess that is is for many of us.
We have provided many food parcels into our partner community in Las Laderas, Peru – direct to families who desperately need (& appreciate) this support.
We have recycled our older IT infrastructure & equipment, paying for it to be transported across the world where it is re-installed as work & study equipment for children who would not otherwise have access to such equipment.
The role that Amoria Bond plays in the local community is an important aspect of the business and we are keen to give something back whenever and wherever possible. Our business helped a school local to our Manchester office to stock and re-open their library, providing a much needed asset to teachers, children and parents.
As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility ethos of the business, we encourage our staff to support local charities as well as the business wide Peru initiative. The image shows 4 staff from the Amsterdam taking their donation to their local chosen charity.
As well as helping to build 100 homes and supplying Christmas parcels to the township in Peru, the team at Amoria Bond have donated clothes to needy families in the area on an annual basis.
